The Lower Provo River is designated a blue-ribbon fishery, with approximately 3,500 fish per mile. The river boasts predominantly wild brown and rainbow trout, with many individuals measuring 16-20 inches.
Views of Mt. Timpanogos
Vivian Park is the take-out spot for self-guided floats down the Provo River. The major rafting outfitter is located just downstream from Vivian Park, where you can rent the gear and be bussed upstream to the put-in point.
At 11,753 feet (3,582 m), Timpanogos is the second highest peak in Utah. It towers over Vivian Park and is visible from many of the hikes and trails surrounding the Treehouse.
